Sarah

Meet Sarah

Sarah is a sweet, lovable girl with a big personality and plenty of energy to share! She loves being part of the action and is always ready for an adventure, whether that's going for a walk, playing with her people, or simply enjoying life by your side.

This happy girl is very food-motivated and never misses a meal. She can be a quick eater, but she has shown excellent manners around food making her a great candidate for continued positive reinforcement training.

Sarah is looking for a home where she can be the only animal. While she enjoys socializing with other dogs and can have canine friends outside of the home, she can become possessive of high-value resources, such as food, treats, and toys, around other dogs. She has not shown these behaviors toward people. To set Sarah up for long-term success, she is best suited as the only dog in her household. She also isn't a fan of small, barky dogs, so respectful, calm canine companions for walks or playdates are the best fit.

Because of her energetic and sometimes enthusiastic nature, especially when food is involved, Sarah is looking for a home with children 14 years of age and older.

Sarah is currently taking medication to help with anxiety about being at the shelter. As she settles into a stable home environment, her adopter can  wean her off the medication.

Sarah is a wonderful dog with lots of love to give. She is looking for an active family that will continue building her confidence, provide her with structure and exercise, and appreciate her fun-loving spirit. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who is always ready to brighten your day.
